Rattlesnake Crafts is halfway -- 15 miles each way -- between Tombstone and Elfrida, Arizona, on the mostly gravel Gleeson Road. When you get to the sign, you turn onto Double U Ranch Road and drive another two miles on dirt.

What a neat place! Sounds like you were smitten, dare I say, "bitten" by the ranch? Great photos and an enjoyable story line.
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures. I have been down that lonely road, but not to the Rattlesnake place.
ReplyDeleteYou two turn up the most unusual places! What a find.
ReplyDeleteI am not a snake fan, so they all being dead there would not be a problem for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting place, could almost call it an art collection??
Loved all the pictures. My mom used to have a dish like those pictured. It looks like a fun place to spend a few hours.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos, Jerry and Suzy, and what an interesting theme for a craft store. Yum, rattlesnake jerky. I wonder how fresh it is? I always enjoy seeing the blue sky that is present in most of your pictures. Sounds like you both had a fun day!
ReplyDeleteWe found Rattlesnake Crafts a rather unique place as well. We did meet John & saw Sandy go by helping him carry a large table. Lots of stuff there for sure & we found it all interesting. Not everybody's cup of tea but we like unusual places like that & we don't mind getting dust on our ourselves to seek them out. We never see anything like that back home in Ontario.
ReplyDeletePretty interesting and unique place and well displayed with all your great pics too!
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, with a name like Rattlesnake, I wouldn't get Paulette within shouting distance of that place!!
The last time I was in Arizona the only rattle snake I saw was alive, and I left it that way.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a very unusual place to shop. Looks like they have everything.
