Take a look at this: today's Pickes comic strip reflects what some of us bloggers have suddenly recognized, or maybe not so suddenly, in our own lives.
More at another time, and we move along ... Our Life on Wheels! (Yes, I know I misspelled Pickles in the link, but the link is set and I don't want to change it.)
That Pickles comic does have a familiar ring to it!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately that cartoon strip is totally accurate. I find myself in one kind of a blind pickle or another almost daily. Can't understand how I look for something, not see it, & then Kelly walks over & picks it up. Kind of like a Stevie Wonder day. By the way, have you ever seen Stevie Wonder's house?? No?? Well, don't feel bad......nor has he:))
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is why it is always the female of the species who can find what the male of the species can't see when it is right in front of his face! My male asks where something is even before he looks 'cause he knows I will lead him to it. Pretty clever on his part don't you think?
ReplyDeleteJust a thought ... :)
Phil, that's just not fair! The "code" requires you to at least PRETEND to look for something before wailing "I can't find it."
ReplyDeleteI love "pickles"!!! But not to be in one! Its usually "JAM" that I'm in.......
