The Incredible Shrinking Woman

For those who have been following Our Life on Wheels, you know that Suzy had major bariatric surgery in January. She had reached a point where nothing she could do made a difference, so surgery was the answer.

Now at three and a half months, Suzy has lost 76 pounds and feels better than she has in many years. There's more to go, of course, but it's so encouraging! For those who want to see the pictures we've been promising, here are the "Before" shots.

And here are today's pictures.

Not going to talk about anything else on this post. We've got more to say, but that will hold for another day in ... Our Life on Wheels.

  26. Suzy...this brings tears to my eyes. When your heavy like us...there is a slight jealousy to see the weight come off another.
I am so impressed with the surgery and how well you are doing. The smile on your face in the after...well it seems so much happier!!!

I did go and have a consultation...they said I couldn't have it due to my past pancreas problems. ARGH!! But I have Faith that I will lose this one pound at a time. Just looking at your picture gives me hope and courage to cut back my food intake and to WALK everyday.

Keep us updated...you are a real inspiration to us!!

Good morning Jerry and Suzy. You two leave me the "best" comments! I really appreciate the comments and the both of you!

Now onto another blog, yours. Thankfully your comment here led me to your link to take a look into your lives too. Suzy you look marvelous! My impression from your "comments" over on your blog is that you are taking care of yourself but you are apparently encouraging others too. I wonder if this line of thinking ever crossed your mind when you started this amazing change in your life? I often think that our actions effect others too and here you are doing so via cyberspace with many people you probably have never met and more than likely never will.

    Have a great day!
