More Cactus and Other Blooms

We told you recently that the cactus and other plants bloom in the summer while many folks are on the road. That's still true. Check out these current pix, and if you want to, visit our web album! All you have to do is click on one picture, and it will take you to the album.

The red yucca is found all through the park. This display is right by the park office.

This is the first cactus in our own garden to bloom! We paid $1.99 for this one at Ace Hardware.

This little guy bloomed about a month later. We had rescued it from a pile of rocks where it was crowded too tightly.

The yucca is right behind our lot, in the "common area" between rows of lots.

Our yucca provides a high perch for a cactus wren!

Don't know the name of this one we saw on a neighbor's lot.

This beauty is blooming in the common area along the main road in the park. Lots more like it!

And these are just a few of the stunning flowers in our web album. To see more, click on any of these pictures to get to the album, then move around!

In the meantime -- Monday begins the move of our new trailer from the former owner's lot to ours. It'll take much of the week to get it dismantled, moved and reassembled here, and we'll keep you up to date on the progress.

All is coming together in ... Our Life on Wheels!
